Employees of the Center for Reproductive Medicine "Universe" participated in the international medical conference "Advances in Modern Reproductive Medicine, the role of surgery, what has changed in one year", which was held on October 26-28, 2017. The conference was attended by world-renowned scientists from abroad, as well as Georgian experts, scientists and practitioners.

The scientific papers and materials presented at the conference once again confirmed that the scientific-practical activities in "Universe" are carried out in accordance with the latest achievements of modern medicine. At present, only "Universe" in Georgia uses the methods that are already widely introduced and accepted in the world, such as determining the DNA fragmentation index of sperm, treatment of varicocele, endovascular embolization, etc.

It is also interesting that the deputy director of RMC "Universe" Prof. The material of the report "Reproductive and Reconstructive Surgery in the Management of Congenital Sexual Developmental Anomalies" presented by Gennaro Christesashvili and the rare forms of sexual developmental anomalies with their uniqueness and volume Joseph Schenker and Professor Alex Shimon, who noted that they had no similar patients.

In general, the conference was very interesting in its content, however, its course showed that the reports presented by the Georgian participants and the level of speakers were high and relevant for the international conference. Such an interesting and high-level conference was the biggest anniversary gift for its organizer - Professor Archil Khomasuridze, who turned 75 years old.
